Both Heywood and Middleton and Rochdale Conservative hold regular social and political events, below are some of the events coming up, you don't have to be a member of the party to come along to our social events, everyone is welcome.

Annual Dinner

Sajjad Karim, North West Conservative MEP, was the speaker at the Joint Annual Dinner of Rochdale and Middleton & Heywood Conservative Associations on 12th September at Rochdale Masonic Hall. Sajjad said he was very pleased to see chairpersons, Susan Pawson of Heywood & Middleton Conservative Association and also Linda Butler of the Rochdale Association there and to be able to share his experiences in Europe and as a Party Whip. He discussed the Party’s position on the EU and of their agenda for reform and was keen to outline his position on Turkey as an accession state.

He emphasised the importance of the North West of England as a key battle ground for the Conservative Party in the next general election. Sajjad said he was delighted to be received so well and was very touched by the very kind gift that was presented to him of Rochdale Town Hall, which he now has hanging in his Brussels office.
