Bamford Primary School no longer have a lollipop lady to escort the children across the road and has been re-sited elsewhere - this is since the £50,000 Puffin Crossing was constructed by the Lib.Dem-run Council on Norden Road outside Bamford Precinct.

This lady has given good valued service to the children and their parents over a good number of years and in all weathers. If you value your children's safety and feel she should be reinstated, then please email this website. A Puffin Crossing cannot replace a human being when it comes to children's lives.
